Letterpress Essentials: Wood Type

Learn basic letterpress skills using the studio’s wood type, provisional presses, and Vandercook proof press. Offered twice this fall: Friday, Aug. 21, 1 – 4 PM or Friday, Oct. 23, 1 – 4 PM.

Letterpress Printing with the Platen Press

Sunday, Aug. 23, 3 – 7:30 PM: Learn to use the studio’s platen printmaking presses by creating personalized greeting cards.

Radically Soft: Block Printed Patches on Fabric

Sunday, Aug. 30, 10 AM – 2:30 PM: Carve soft blocks and print custom fabric patches for mending or decorating your wardrobe.
