We understand that time and cost can be barriers to participation. That’s why we provide Membership Grants and Tuition Assistance and why we’re continuously working to expand our scheduling options.

Tuition Assistance

BARN offers tuition assistance for our classes. It is available to everyone, regardless of membership status.

How to Apply

Submit your application before enrolling in the class. Please apply as early as possible. Applications submitted less than 10 days before a class may not have enough time to be processed.

Application Processing

BARN processes requests within 3 business days. You will be notified by of the outcome by email with this information:

• the amount of assistance BARN offers toward the registration fee
• how much of the registration fee you will need to pay
• a discount code you will use to register for the class

Important Information:

• To help BARN provide assistance to as many people as possible, students are limited to $900 of tuition assistance per calendar year based on the start date of the class.
• Students are encouraged to contribute a minimum of 20% of the total registration price or the full materials fee, whichever is greater. If the 20% is still a barrier, apply anyway, and we will work with you!
