With new classes being added every day, the Kitchen Arts Studio is moving into high gear over the next couple of months. Whether you are looking for inspiration, education or just some kind of diversion, there’s probably something going on that will strike your fancy.

Here are a couple classes with spots available that are sure to be informative, interactive and fun:

Warm fermented broth is like a delicious hug, and Tracy’s Cooking with Miso class is sure to be just the thing to kick off the stormy season. The Nov. 5 class is waitlisted, but you can still find a few spots for the daytime class on Nov. 2.

Our Wine and Spirts Coordinator, Christopher, is returning from his long holiday in France ready to dive right back in with a session on bubbly. His Nov. 8  Champagne & Sparkling Wine Traditions class still has a few seats available – this will be a great spark of inspiration for your holiday gathering menus.

And speaking of holiday menu planning – Bainbridge Brewery’s Chelsea Dalton is popping by on Nov. 19 to teach a class on pairing food with beer. She will focus primarily on pairing beers with typical Thanksgiving sides. This will be a wonderful opportunity to experience different flavor profiles and learn how different beers go with each of them. We’re offering this class just before the holiday but with enough time to apply your knowledge and find some great beers to go with your feast.

We’re also thrilled to be a part of BARN’s upcoming art installation in the commons. The theme is “What’s for Dinner” and will be running throughout November and December. Stay tuned for more details!
