Woodworkers’ Monthly Presentation: Port Townsend School of Woodworking
The September Woodworkers' Monthly Speaker Program will be a field trip to the Port Townsend School of Woodworking (PTSW). This nationally recognized school is located at the historical Fort Worden State Park in Port Townsend.
What’s New in the Writers’ Studio
Join us this month as we launch our Book Club! Connect with fellow readers and writers for lively discussions. Our first pick is ”Red Clocks” by best-selling author Leni Zumas. Zumas will be joining us via Zoom to discuss the book and her upcoming release, “Wolf Bells.”
Grow Gourmet Mushrooms at Home
Fall is around the corner – and that means mushroom season. Local mycologist Joseph Zapotosky is an avid forager of wild fungi, but also knows how to cultivate gourmet mushrooms right in your pantry. Join him at the Culinary Arts Studio on National Mushroom Day, Oct 15, for a quick primer on home cultivation as you build two simple kits to take home, for two different varieties of oyster mushrooms, that can provide years of harvests.
