ShareNet’s mission is to fight hunger in North Kitsap with meaningful programs in a nourishing environment. Their Thrift Store provides funding for the food bank program and is a resource for those who need clothing and household goods at low prices. ShareNet changed locations and used the opportunity to upgrade its facilities organization and presentation to better serve the community. The Thrift Store reached out to BARN for help with creating new displays and re-purposing existing fixtures. The goal is to create a fresh shopping environment that’s uplifting and attractive to new shoppers. BARN volunteers in the Woodworking Studio built a collection of small display tables, risers, frames, and boards to add the finishing touches to the redesign.
