Giving back to the community is woven into the fabric of BARN’s mission. Through our talented members and well-equipped studios, we partner with nonprofits throughout the Pacific Northwest on projects that make a real difference.
We’re also excited to announce that longtime BARN member and former marketing director Carolyn Goodwin is volunteering as BARN’s new community service liaison. Carolyn will help coordinate projects and share updates on BARN’s community impact. Look for stories about completed projects and upcoming opportunities on the BARN Blog.
Whether it’s woodworking benches for local schools, knitting blankets for shelters, or creating signage for community organizations, BARN members volunteer their skills to support causes that matter to them. If you represent a nonprofit organization with a project idea, we’d love to hear from you. Submit your request through our community service inquiry form or email Carolyn at communityservice@bainbridgebarn.org. Your submission will be shared with our studio leads to explore how we can help.
Together, we’re building a stronger, more connected community through craft and service.
