Coffee and Chat, Writer’s Group Speed Dating, Write Now, and Open Mic
Are you interested in connecting with other writers? The first Writers Studio Coffee and Chat will be on April 13, at 10 AM.
We’ll supply coffee and cookies. You provide enthusiasm and experience. For this first session, we’ll discuss writing, our evolution as writers, and the format and frequency of future coffee chats. All writers are welcome!
On April 24, come to a special Writing Group Speed Dating event to meet fellow writers, find potential writing partners, and perhaps spark some creative chemistry. We’ll start with a short introduction and then move into some organized mingling. You’ll have the opportunity to chat with multiple people to help you find and form mutually supportive writing groups.
And, of course, you’re always invited to join our Tuesday and Thursday virtual Write Now sessions. Write Now is a weekly time to write in the company of others. There is no sharing or critique of your writing, only fast-paced, supportive productivity in the company of other writers. Using Zoom to come together, we write for 25 minutes, take a break, and repeat.
Then, don’t forget to share the fruits of your labors and support other writers by attending the March 12 Writers Studio open mic.
This open mic is for writers of all levels of experience to read their work to an appreciative audience. Register as “Reader” soon to snag one of 12 five-minute reading spots, or just come to hear what other BARN writers have been working on and show your support.
