How can I volunteer in the Woodshop?

There are many ways to help and get more involved.

Show up at 9 am Mondays and help with shop upkeep and tool maintenance.
Volunteer to assist with a class, Teen Night, or other activity.
Sign up to participate in a community service project; as opportunities come up, they are posted on the Woodworking Calendar.
If you are an experienced woodworker who uses the shop frequently, let the woodworking lead know if you might be interested in becoming a safety monitor.

Land Acknowledgment

We would like to begin by acknowledging that the land on which we gather is within the ancestral territory of the suq̀ʷabš “People of Clear Salt Water” (Suquamish People). Expert fisherman, canoe builders and basket weavers, the suq̀ʷabš live in harmony with the lands and waterways along Washington’s Central Salish Sea as they have for thousands of years. Here, the suq̀ʷabš live and protect the land and waters of their ancestors.
