Youth at BARN
BARN strives to provides an empowering environment where youth can explore new creative outlets. Unless otherwise specified, all BARN classes are open to ages 14 and up. We also have programs specifically for youth, such as Teen Nights, Summer at BARN, and Maker Monday after-school classes. Ages are noted in the activity description.
Maker Mondays
Join us for after-school youth classes throughout the school year on everything from welding to cooking with a professional chef – or sew a fabric bag, make a print, or work with glass. Classes run for three weeks from 2:30 to 5 pm, lining up with the school district’s early release days.
Teen Night
Each month during the school year, we offer a free Friday evening of art, friends, food, and creativity for teens (7th-12th grade). Teens can choose from activities like cooking, woodworking, sewing, jewelry making, metal working, and more – every month is different! Registration required.
Summer at BARN
We love having kids and teens at BARN for our summer programs on Bainbridge Island! Find classes designed especially for teens in everything from sewing and welding, to jewelry-making, robotics, and woodworking.
