Intro to Building Stringed Instruments
Sunday, Oct. 11, 1 – 3 PM: Learn about building guitars, violins, ukuleles, and potentially other stringed instruments in this open, come-as-you-are introduction. Whether you’ve never touched a lutherie tool or you’re deciding what to build next, this is the place to start.
Demystifying Cabinet Drawer Hardware
Sunday, Oct. 11, 9 AM – 12 PM: Learn options for cabinet drawer hardware, from soft-close slides to traditional runners, so your next build opens and closes exactly the way you want.
Ukulele Build Kickoff
Sunday, Oct. 25, 1 – 3 PM: Learn what’s involved in building a ukulele and the support you’d get if a ukulele-building series comes together. If you’ve ever wanted to make your own instrument, start here.
Creating Toggle Clamp Jigs
Tuesday, Nov. 10, 6 – 9 PM: Design and build a toggle clamp jig for pattern shaping, a shop-made tool you’ll reach for on project after project.
