Drop in and watercolor Tuesday mornings in the studio — at the back of the Commons on the lower level. You’re invited whether you’re a seasoned veteran of watercolor or a complete beginner who is curious. We paint together, share tips and experiences, try new materials, and occasionally have experts demonstrate valuable techniques.

This is not a class with regular instruction. It’s a time to paint together in a nurturing and supportive environment. Bring your own materials if you have them, but we have paints, brushes, and paper on hand for anyone to use.

No need to register. This meetup is free and open to all ages and abilities. BARN membership not required.

The meetup host is Drawing & Painting Studio Lead Carla Mackey. She says she’s not an expert watercolorist but rather an enthusiastic learner and experimenter.  Her primary goal for the weekly watercolor meetup is to create a community of people who love watercolor; want to learn and practice in a safe, non-competitive space; and maybe relax and laugh along the way.
