This anvil belonged to Heikki Seppa, the master metalsmith who made Bainbridge Island his home late in life. His work is currently on display at the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art. In 2002, Seppa and Laurie A. Lyall gave the anvil to Island jewelry-maker Jane Martin for use in her classes taught through the Bainbridge park district. Jane has in turn donated it to BARN for use in BARN jewelry-making classes and open studio time.
