Last month we had a rockstar weaver in our midst! Sara Bixler came to BARN for a sold-out class on rib weave and she did not disappoint. (See image gallery below).
A powerhouse teacher, she learned weaving as a child from her esteemed father, Tom Knisley. Everyone in class marveled at the way she was able to clearly explain key concepts around rib weave, while also fielding off-topic questions about all things weaving.
It was a true honor to have such a wealth of knowledge in the studio! There already are plans in the works for her to come back next spring after she is a keynote speaker at the conference of Northern California Handweavers, so keep an eye out!
