Happy Anniversary to the “Big BARN!”
At 10am on June 3, 2017, the doors to BARN’s new facility opened to the public for the first time. The moment had been years in the making, starting back in 2012 when the founding board was formed with a mission to create a resource center for artisans in Kitsap County and beyond. A makerspace where people would come together to create all manner of things. After several formative years at the “Baby BARN” on the north end of the Island, BARN had built and equipped its new home on Three Tree Lane.
On June 3, 2022, we celebrated the 5th Anniversary of that day. Many thanks to all who helped make BARN happen!
