Be a Part of BARN’s Next Chapter!

Ten years ago, BARN was just an idea, a shared desire to make craft and creativity more accessible. In 2014, BARN opened in a small building in Rolling Bay. Since then, thanks to enthusiastic support from people like you, BARN has grown into a vibrant and valued resource. Membership and scope have continued to grow since the current facility was opened in 2017.

When the 1.89-acre property to the south of BARN unexpectedly became available in 2020 the Board understood the need to pursue this important opportunity. The purchase of the property will enable

BARN to grow to better serve the community and the region. The Craft Our Future capital campaign will focus on raising funds to complete the land purchase by the end of 2023.

As fundraising goes forward, many ideas will continue to surface about additional resources that are needed in the community and the region. This year a team of BARN volunteers and staff members will reach out to the community, both at BARN and regionally, to further assess needs and potential uses of this important property and next chapter in BARN’s growth.
